For their engagement session, Meghan and Matthew took a walk down by the Georgetown Canals near where they live. Their images are totally no frills–just a simple, lovely walk by the river, and it’s got us thinking about spending the summer near the water. We love reminiscing about the love of our youth especially when we see couples like Meghan and Matthew who were high school sweethearts.
Their Story: We met at the very end of high school and became extremely fast friends, enough that we kept in touch after we started at different colleges. After years of dating, we got engaged on a trip we took to Montauk, NY. It was just the two of us and he asked me about half way into the trip so we had a couple of days to ourselves to just be engaged before we told anyone.
