A reader recently emailed me with the following query:
“What colors should I use for a summer wedding that takes place in a formal venue? I want fun pops of color, but I also want to stay in keeping with the feel of our location.”
This is a fabulous question, and because many of you don’t have access to your some relative’s expansive estate or an idyllic farm location, formal venues are often times a very common scenario for most brides. You want to get the look of a fun outdoor-ish wedding, while still keeping with the feel of the venue. I think Caroline and Michael’s wedding shot by Sara Gray Photography is a great example of a wedding that is modern and formal, yet fun and seasonal.
