We are SO excited to start off this week with a crazy crazy beautiful wedding shot by one of our favorite photographers, Ali Harper. We are absolute obsessed with Laura and Preston’s southern black tie affair designed by Kristin Newman Designs. This is totally our kind of wedding–a little mix of tradition and just a touch of breaking the rules. Here’s what Laura told us about their wedding:
“I walk the line of embracing tradition and creating new traditions, and I think our wedding reflected that. I was fortunate to have a few family heirlooms from the women in my family: my mother gave me diamond earrings, my grandmother loaned me her mother of pearl fan from her wedding and I carried my great grandmother’s hankie during the ceremony. On the less traditional side, Preston and I walked down the aisle together, symbolizing our shared journey.”
