Whenever we see a wedding that was designed by Bustle Events, we get excited! Their work is always so gorgeous, and when you combine that with a photographer like Michele Beckwith and florals from Mandolin Flowers, you kind of can’t not love EVERYTHING. This wedding at Los Altos History Museum is no exception. We absolutely love all the delicate details, lush flowers, and al fresco reception.
What made the wedding special and unique?
One of the things I was most excited about was getting ready with my children and marrying my best friend. Nate surprised me with a Tiffany Atlas bracelet that I wore to complete my look. I worked closely with Erin from Bustle Events and Mandolin Flowers to create the details and florals in a soft palette and accents of gold. The florist draped passion vines down the tables, and each place setting was completed with custom stationary from Aerialist press.
Tell us about the gown and where/how you found it!
So my wedding gown is actually a funny story. I originally had a Lazaro dress, but felt it just wasn’t the one and ended up getting a new dress shortly before the wedding, a Monique Lhuillier. It fit like a glove and added a bid of beaded drama to the look with those flared hip details and shape. Overall the look I was going for was soft, with a little bit of glamour.
Tell us how you met and became engaged.
We met and fell in love in college. We raised their little children together in San Francisco, before moving to Berkeley to finish our studies.
