I want to become a society lady Rockin' a new rock?!

There are so so many things I love about Paige and Hunter’s wedding…it was impossibly hard to pick the best images to share with you. One of my favorite details, however, is the groom’s kilt. I love when couples are able to sport their heritage, and Hunter has gone all out with his style. Another touch that I really love are the over-sized buckets of flowers dispersed throughout the ceremony. The idea to cover the buckets in burlap for a softer yet rustic feel is so great! Be sure to check out more that their awesome photographer Carmen Salazar shared with me about Hunter and Paige’s wedding in Newcastle, Ca. You also must check out their wedding designer, Donna Urban Events, who put together such a gorgeous affair!

Hunter and Paige planned a winery wedding that took place on the winery owned by the groom’s family and was their first wedding at the winery. Paige wanted a very classy but vintage inspired wedding that went with the winery background. The groom chose to wear a Scottish kilt with his family tartan. The bride arrived at the ceremony site with her dad in the groom’s grandfather’s vintage car being led by a Scottish bagpiper playing. The couple created an outdoor cocktail hour with collected furniture from private purchases and borrowed furniture from me. They had signature drinks for their guests to enjoy with handmade tags with the couple’s initials. Guests inscribed messages of love that were placed inside a wine bottle to be opened on their first anniversary. For the reception the couple opted for food stations rather than seated or buffet service. The dance floor was illuminated by a large custom designed light as well as an orchard ladder over the bridal party table. The couple decided on a milk & cookie toast and also had pies for their guests to enjoy instead of a cake.
