Jul25 Forage Bowties 2011

We’re starting another new column here on Grey! It’s all about taking the inspiration, ideas and images you see in our features and following that up with resources, places to purchase, DIY’s, and links! We want to offer a bit more than pretty pictures and empower you get styled!

Our takeaway from today’s wedding feature is a resource for bowties, which you can see on the dashing groom! Bowties can be tough to find…especially if you’re on the hunt for creative colors and patterns. My favorite resource for bowties (which you may have already spied!) is Forage. Their bowties are total adorbs, many of which are made from vintage fabric. If you aren’t yet familiar, definitely bookmark their shop when it comes time to find your man his fancy duds.

    Ah! That is cute!
These aren’t just popping up at “geek chic” weddings anymore; they are getting very popular. *Delighted*

My groom and I absolutely love these ties, but the $68ish price on each one was out of range to outfit all of our groomsmen. We searched many, many stores for a cheaper option ($27 each) and finally found comparable patterns at Macy’s in the suit section. Best of luck if you’re looking for these for your wedding!
