Why Red is Sexy

and the most romantic valentine's day ever

Is it just us, or is red near about the most vivacious color ever? We’re proving the point today with another shoot in honor of Valentine’s Day! Jaime of On Pointe Floral Design created this city inspired styled floral photo shoot. She wanted to bring the timeless feel of NYC to the small town of Rexburg, Idaho where she currently designs. Their inspiration started with the idea to create a table runner made from fresh florals–which is an absolute show stopper! And the cake by Ashley’s Cakes by Designs is the perfect compliment! Very special thanks to Kimbry Studios for sharing such gorgeous images!

The countdown is getting closer, darlings! We’re five days away from Lady Grey’s makeover!! To celebrate, we’re bringing your our five favorite bouquets from 2012. Because I’m such a sucker for great bouquets, this was a near impossible task, so we hope you’ll love what we picked!

New York based floral designers Poppies and Posies are one of our all time faves, so of course this elopement bouquet created for bride Anna was an absolute favorite! We heart Jen Huang who shot these images on film. To see more of this elopement, head here!

Last but not least, we went ahead and cheated. Just a little. This bouquet was created by Fayaz of  Bloom Box Designs for our Shoot This Not That workshop. These images were shot by attendee, Janel KG Photography.
