As we head into the weekend, we thought the perfect way to enjoy our Friday is with a recap of our favorite party of the year: The Cream Event.
If you haven’t ever been, here’s how it works. The genius team behind The Cream Event sets a mood/theme for all the vendors–and for you! This year, the color scheme included tons of whites and creams–so everything from decor to fashion was all in these hues!! All sorts of killer wedding vendors are invited to show off their wares for you–the attendee. What is amazing is that you can see how one inspiration board can be interpreted in so many different ways! What a killer way to check out wedding pros in the actual context with which you’d use them!
Not only do you get to meet and chat with killer designers, but you also get to sip fab cocktails and munch on insanely delish food, and learn more about all kinds of amazing options to make your wedding gorg–think exquisite linens, bespoke bow ties, venue resources, stunning cakes, vintage furniture, gilded tableware–the list goes on!
Lady Grey made an appearance with a little station to show of her Mrs. Box collection with special thanks to Bloom Babes for our fab flowers and Found Vintage Rentals for our furniture!
After plenty of oogling at all the pretty, entertainment and dancing kicks off (with plenty of cocktails to go around for everyone!).
Every year, The Cream Event ends with the most epic dance off. For this year’s prize to the dance off winner, Wanderable teamed up with Mr. & Mrs. Smith (who has spent the last decade checking into the world’s most stylish, inspiring and romantic boutique hotels) to offer a 7 night honeymoon in France at this year’s Cream Event in Los Angeles. The incredible giveaway included a $2,000 hotel credit in Paris (which can be used at any of the 65 properties in the Mr. and Mrs. Smith Hotel Collection in France), as well as 7 different Wanderable experiences, like a Flytographer photo shoot, Macaron making class, guided tours of Montmartre and Versailles and foodie excursions!
