Last week, we decided it might be fun to put together a styling guide for throwing a Champagne and Cheese Party. Using gorgeous wares from VIETRI (which you can register for at Belk, Bloomingdales, and Neiman Marcus, or directly through VIETRI) we pulled together a monochromatic look that is perfect for a small cocktail party! We employed a soft grey, white, and green palette and even chose cheeses that coordinated in color! Rosemary flatbread and marcona almonds are the perfect and simple accompaniment to pull everything together. The platters from VIETRI’S Incanto line worked beautifully with our subtle palette.

I could not be more obsessed with those gold rimmed wine glasses, so we decided we ought to give away a set of four (by the way…these lovers were on Oprah’s Favorite Things list this year!). There are tons of ways to enter below, and we’ll announce our winner next week!

*Very special thanks to Lacie Hansen for these GORGEOUS images, and to Richard Photo Lab for the processing.

We are so so so so sooooooooo excited to be a part of The Cream Event this year. Haven’t heard of The Cream? It’s an incredible interactive showcase that features invite-only vendors who represent the hippest and best in the industry. You get a chance to party like you would at a real wedding, and experience each of the vendors in their true element. And there’s no one better to party with than the people who do it in the absolute best way possible: wedding pros. Nab your tickets ASAP because they ALWAYS sell out. And then, come say hi to us. We’ll chat about styling, give you a little goodie, and giant hug of congratulations on your engagement.

Need more convincing? Probably not, but just in case, here’s a run down of images from last year. We die! See more of these images here, here, here, and here.

We are so excited to have a chance to collaborate with Kate Spade New York on a super fun little project that we’re featuring on MONDAY!!! I thought I’d share with you some of the ingredients we used for the shoot (which I think are so versatile!) and most definitely belong on your registry!

Shop the entire post below and be ready for a little Kate Spade Garden Party coming next week! You are going to LOVE!

Wedding Blog Kate Spade Garden Party Essentials

I thought the idea of a floral print would be an unexpected mix with the graphic stripes and dots that we so loooove about Kate Spade, so we hunted down a tablecloth with a floral pattern tablecloth and paired piles of peonies and lemons on the table to add a simple yet chic centerpiece. Under the china, we nabbed a few striped chargers from Handsome Chargers to make the idea pop! Mix-and-match is so great, because it allows you to always add to your collection–keeping things fresh and interesting for years to come! Simple patterns and a splash of color are the perfect way to start your registry!

We’re starting off today with a little prep! I love stripes–I’m an absolute sucker for them, so I thought you’d enjoy a little burst of this fun, preppy table designed by Andrea Leslie Weddings and shot by the ever lovely Erica Velasco.
