Bianca and Carson hosted an incredibly personal wedding so chock full of details, this post is bursting at the seams with ideas! That’s due in no small part to the crew over at Lovelyfest Events, who always turn out such beautiful weddings that we can hardly stand it! When you combine their creativity with photography by Jake and Necia, you’re more than likely to end up with today’s feature–one of our biggest ever! We’ll let Bianca tell the story of their big day, alongside the images!
Our wedding was so special to us. We were surrounded by the ones we love and the setting was stunningly beautiful. Even though we had a large wedding with over 300 guests, it felt intimate and romantic- exactly what I wanted. It felt like everyone mingled, but it was in an open outdoor space and not a stuffy indoor reception. The tenting was amazing and we couldn’t believe how a blank field could be transformed in such a way! The table settings underneath the tent were so beautiful, and I loved that special glittered linens were used on just the head table, sweets and some cocktail tables.
There were so many details that made our wedding unique; from the photos of us around the reception to our favorite drinks at the bar, there were tons of personalized touches that made it feel like “us”. I loved that we were able to incorporate Carson’s cattle brand on the favor bags, and that they were stuffed with shot glasses etched with our wedding date. I loved that we could incorporate my Hispanic culture with a Mariachi band greeting guests and playing throughout cocktail hour. The cigar and scotch bar was another one of my favorites- everyone loved it and it was something I hadn’t seen at a wedding before. Carson and I had mentioned we wanted an area for the men to go and smoke cigars, but we never realized it would come out as awesome as it did. Natalie and Stephanie made it elegant and masculine at the same time.
The most memorable part of the day for both of us was the ceremony. I became so full of emotion when I first walked down the aisle. I realized that after everything we had been through, planned and prepared for, it all came down to that one moment. We were getting married! Carson said that was his favorite moment as well, even as nervous as he was to have all our guests staring at him! Aside from that, we loved walking into the reception space and seeing how everything came together. We had no idea how beautiful it would be until it was all put together! Lovelyfest is amazing!!!!! I just wish I could recreate the day over and over again.
