It’s time for a little Charleston Chic! We were so excited when Amy Nicole of Amy Nicole Photography sent us over this gorgeous southern culinary inspired concept shoot. We’re crazy about the pops of mandarin and yellow in the fabulous florals by Karis Floral Design as well as the luxe-meets-industrial-meets-southern styling by Kelly Dellinger Events. See more details about the shoot from Amy Nicole below. We know you’re going to love these gorgeous images as much as we do!
Our inspiration was to create a springtime/summer luxury wedding shoot inspired by Restoration Hardware’s sophisticated culinary-industrial style with a color palette of buttercream yellow, taupe, and metallics. Our goal was to mix elements of luxe, industrial, and culinary all while bringing some of the best elements of Charleston to life (southern style and divine food).
We designed a simple table with culinary elements that were brought to life with simple pops of color and delectable dishes from Cru Catering featuring a spring watermelon salad, a luxe twist on the classic banana pudding and many more dishes all the while still featuring twists on the classic biscuit and cornbread. I can of course get you the full menu and share more food shots! There’s nothing like community built around the southern table.
With the simple table concept, we wanted to bring in some heavy florals to give the tablescape a flair in unusual spots, such as the chair backs and we also created floral placemats, as you’ll see.
