First Moments of Fall Inspiration Shoot
Images by Jen Dillender / Florals by Bristol Lane / Styling by Westcott Weddings
Remember that time a fig became our favorite prop? Oh yeah, that was today in this gorge inspiration shoot styled by Westcott Weddings and photographed by Jen Dillender. It’s absolutely dripping with fall inspiration, from pears and figs, to out-of-control florals from Bristol Lane, to a fabulous blue, painterly back drop. This is the kind of stuff that has us happily welcoming in the fall season!
The first moments of fall are breathtaking. Those few fleeting days are welcoming and gentle. They are ethereal and organic, a soft shift into more color, texture, and focus. As we pack up summer, we begin to pay attention to the way the leaves change colors, we practice gratitude more often, and we work on connecting with people around our table. Before we get swept away with holidays, pumpkins, and the wonderful heart of fall, these first days contain a delicacy and charm that is hard to put into words. This shoot captures the beauty of the beginning of autumn and the simple yet stunning way it shifts our hearts.
