Mar01 Modern & Graphic Brunch 2011
In The Now Weddings and Events always puts together very thoughtful events with really great big ideas behind them. This darling brunch is no exception. I absolutely ADORE the idea of turning to graphic design to create a very simple, modern and fun way of interacting with guests. There are so many fun ideas here and it really makes having a brunch wedding (or shower!!!) seem like the way to go!
All this cutie was planned by Rachel of In The Now Weddings and Event and Good Gracious Events and the images were shot by Ashleigh Taylor Photography. Lots more vendor info below, so check it out!
Resources: Coffee by Annabelle’s Coffee, Catering by Jay’s Catering, Delicieuse Ice Cream, I Tart Sugar, Sundried Tomato Cafe and Andrei’s. Venue: Serra Plaza. Linens: BBJ Linens, Rentals: Classic Party Rentals, Makeup by All Made Up, Photobooth by Cheesy Photobooths.

This is fantastic! I especially like the “Pick Your Seat”. I’m not having assigned seating at my wedding either so this idea is great.
Oh, I love this!! I adore this type of “modern but still approachable” style!! And brunch!! More people should have brunch receptions!! Just lovely.
WOW!!! Thank you so much for the feature Summer!!! Love the way you laid the photos out!!
In The Now is such an amazing team!!
It was an awesome event to be a part of. Thanks for sharing it!
Thanks for the love Summer! It was great fun to change things up a bit. A HUGE thank-you to Mary from Jay’s for asking me to be a part!
Love the look and tone of the text in this wedding ~ and being able to choose where you get to sit. Refreshing!
Love this! So clever, witty and fun.
This look is so cool and clever! Very inviting for guests to feel relaxed and welcome!
this is awesome! what are inside the favors?
Yay! SO fun and I’m SO proud we got to be a part of it!!
Justine- the favor boxes were amazing. Stuffed with an izze sparkling juice drink, fresh chocolate graham crackers [3 flavors!], a mini note pad, a lipstick sample and a catalogue of the vendors involved [we were definitely marketing to our clientele here- the brunch was mainly for planners/coordinators in the industry!].
Loved the Dress your Drink station and modern/romantic decor. Serra Plaza is beautiful!
In love with this wedding! The fresh look and font used is amazing!
opps..meant to say brunch table set up!! soo cool!

This is too cute for words! Love it.
Beautiful use of typography. We love all of the labeling!
The lovelies at In The Now never cease to amaze me. Rachel’s creation of the “3 word phrases” was so clever. You found yourself curiously searching for them. LOVE what she created!
