I want to become a society lady Rockin' a new rock?!

A traditional Hindu ceremony normally takes place in a ballroom with many family and friends, but today’s featured couple decided to throw a less traditional wedding reception—on a farm! Filled with all the vibrant visuals we love so much about Indian weddings, this one captured by Grey Collective member D. Park Photography and planned by So Eventful LLC  shows the unique pairing of cultural traditions and the rustic barn setting of Olympia’s Valley Estate.

What made the wedding special and unique?

A traditional Hindu ceremony normally takes place in a ballroom with many family and friends. This couple decided to throw a less traditional wedding reception and show their closest friends and family something they have probably never seen before by taking them to an outdoor farm venue filled with livestock and a beautiful barn for dinner.

What was the most memorable part of the day?

During the Hindu ceremony, a pack of cows came to watch over. In the Hindu culture, cows are very sacred and deeply respected so this was fun to see! All of the guests were so excited to see the cows watching over, it was almost like the cows were blessing the couple.
