I want to become a society lady Rockin' a new rock?!

We’re loving this colorful take on Autumn nuptial style from Grey Collective member Shannon Schultz Events. Shannon and her amazing team collaborated at the Hickory Street Annex to create a look that’s both familiar and fresh. The colorful florals by Bella Flora of Dallas with deep, rich tones and pops of pastel are perfect for fall and the calligraphy stationery by Silver Fox Calligraphy set the tone with the burgundy, textural accents. The tablescape elements nod to traditional family gatherings but feel completely modern. Check out all the beautiful images by Elisabeth Carol for all the gorgeous seasonal inspiration.

from the planner: With touches of old and new you can create a warm traditional on-trend wedding. We created something that speaks to the familiar sense of the autumnal season. With a tablescape that is thoughtful and makes you feel right at home and colors that warm your heart, you’ll see how a wedding can be reminiscent of your family traditions yet also be new and engaging.

The table is dressed with Spode dishware and gold rimmed glassware that makes you feel like you are sitting at your very own family holiday table. We modernized it by including some on-trend elements such as the matte gold flatware and hand-loom table runner. Mixing the familiar and the new generates a feeling of comfort and interest. To bring in more interest we used an innovative translucent hand-scripted flat place card and paired it with a customary linen napkin, again to create that juxtaposition of tradition and on-trend.

Our bride is wearing the Martina Liana separates; a new take on mix and matching wedding attire. With a good mix of tradition and boho we chose the Sadie skirt and paired it with the Casey tulle corset, as tulle is so very synonymous with weddings but wearing a blush top has just the right hint of new.

All of the details: the champagne, the shoes, and the pie come from custom but are given a new twist. Serve champagne with thyme, an herb of the season. The matte gold shoes look like they could be from your grandmother’s closet, except with a young tall heel, and we all enjoy a few too many slices of pie over the holidays so why not dress it up with some gorgeous floral.

So break out the good dishes, find your favorite on-trend inspiration and enjoy this wonderful season.
