I want to become a society lady Rockin' a new rock?!

Stefanie and Eric were married on the grounds of a restored antique greenhouse—cool, right? Terrain at Styers set a lovely scene and Heart & Dash incorporated charming details that reflected the couple. We especially love the way the deep-purple and black are woven through the floral elements. It’s a sophisticated compliment to the sweetness of the blush details. Thankfully Svetlana Photography was on hand to capture the lovely details of the day.

From Heart & Dash:
From the beginning Stefanie & Eric wanted their wedding day to be a genuine reflection of who they were as a couple. While they wanted to honor certain wedding traditions, they didn’t want to lose who they were in those traditions.

We worked with them to pull in elements of what was important to them as well as design elements that the venue already possessed. From dog shaped clips that held up their place cards {a nod to their fur baby Harper} to the pattern pulled from the ceremony chapel woodwork that was used throughout their stationary suite. Their wedding day was a true reflection of their love and life together!

The Bride’s Favorite Moments:

My favorite moment of the day was our first dance as husband and wife. It was very special to have those few uninterrupted minutes together. When we were dancing it felt like there was no one else in the room – just us – and nothing else mattered. My second favorite moment was our ceremony. We worked very closely with our officiant to create it and every spoken word was intentional and had meaning to us. Sometimes traditional wedding vows are not one-size-fits-all so we made sure our vows were sincere, that we meant every word and that they reflected our life goals.

The Groom’s Favorite Moments:
One of my favorite moments was when the reception area was presented to us prior to everyone joining us for the reception. The room was better than I could have imagined. It was charming, elegant and pretty surreal. I think it captured exactly what we wanted our wedding day to be like. I also really enjoyed our first dance. It’s the first thing I think about when I look back on our wedding day because I was able to stop, slow everything down and take it all in.
