I’m obsessed with Tom and Steph’s Love Shoot. They’ve done one every year for their anniversary so far and I think this is my FAVORITE! I love the Palm Springs inspired fashion and mid century details. Very special thanks to Hayley of T&H Photography (who happens to be my sister…whaaa??? So talente–but I’m bias.). We love this one!

Carrie Johnson Details Details Wedding and Event Planning helped pull together the day at Shutters on the Beach in Santa Monica. I think my favorite image is the one of Alex greeting her grandmothers–she’s embracing one of them while the other checks out her ring. What a darling moment!

We already knew we were going to love Katie Mae and Jeff’s wedding when we saw their wedding fashion, but then we checked out all their fun details and fell hard. We love that they opted for a live painting instead of the standard unity candle! They also slipped on their dancing shoes to perform for their guests–and we’re talking legit dancing here, darlings. Just you wait and see. Oh, and Katie Mae had the bridesmaids carry beautiful lanterns filled with flowers and had them each hang their lantern on the archway before Katie walked down the aisle. Such beautiful symbolism!

One of our all time favorite bridesmaid dress designers, Donna Morgan, has just come out with a new style that we are obsessing over! The incredibly popular Blaire style is a convertible due to added skirt panels. This allows the Blaire to be tied in at least 15 different ways. We are SO excited to start off this week with a crazy crazy beautiful wedding shot by one of our favorite photographers, Ali Harper. We are absolute obsessed with Laura and Preston’s southern black tie affair designed by Kristin Newman Designs. This is totally our kind of wedding–a little mix of tradition and just a touch of breaking the rules. Here’s what Laura told us about their wedding:
“I walk the line of embracing tradition and creating new traditions, and I think our wedding reflected that. I was fortunate to have a few family heirlooms from the women in my family: my mother gave me diamond earrings, my grandmother loaned me her mother of pearl fan from her wedding and I carried my great grandmother’s hankie during the ceremony. On the less traditional side, Preston and I walked down the aisle together, symbolizing our shared journey.”
