Today is going to be a VERY pretty Monday. Are you ready for it? We feel absurdly lucky to be featuring Sarah and John’s wedding which took place at The Villa in San Juan Capistrano. Not only is this location gorg, with stunning details, but it’s also the wedding of an avid Grey Likes Reader. What an honor to have helped inspire such a beautiful wedding! Lady Grey is beyond flattered. Of course, when everything is shot on film by a photographer like Matt Haines, you really can’t go wrong!

A little about Sarah and John’s wedding from Matt:
Sarah and John were married at The Villa in San Juan Capistrano, CA, a historic building located a few blocks from the world-famous San Juan Capistrano Mission. The venue has an intimate “Old California” feel to it, and easily hosted the 130 guests under shade trees in the courtyard. Sarah is a wedding and event stylist (Lemons and Vinegar) and did the styling herself, with the help of florist Nancy Thompson.
Some fun details include the Polaroid cameras, which guests used to take photos of themselves and wishes for the happy couple in the Polaroid guest book. Signature drinks included Mojitos and Margaritas, served in Mason jars. There were plenty of children at the wedding, and each one had their own goody bag with coloring books and other items, to keep them entertained while all the grown-ups had fun.
