Apr08 Queen of Hearts 2010
This Queen of Hearts Inspiration Shoot was sent over to me by Mai Hoang of Bunch Studio. They had an incredible team working on this shoot, with photography by Adrienne Gunde and coordination by Olivia Wu of Zoie Events.
What’s amazing is that the Alice in Wonderland concept can spawn so many incredibly different ideas. It really goes to show how endless the possibilities really are! I really love that this team used that bright red Queen of Hearts idea. I adore the bride’s necklace and am blown away by the over-sized chess pawns they found for the table! Killer!

The red is positively to DIE for! And of course I love anything with Alice-themed!
Very Lewis Caroll! Also, this is one of the few that roses were used really well and in a novel way. Kind of feels like the entire ensemble is ripped straight out of Jane Austen’s world. The photos are telling on that fact.
Love the glamour and the bride’s look!
your blog is very addicting! i open it every morning the same time I open facebook =) It was awesome to work with you at the Victor Sizemore’s mentor session. Hope to cross path with you again!!

Wow. I love the bold colors and the dramatic effect. I love the one of the couple sitting on the floor surrounded by ivory leaves. Plus the profile of the bride looking at her bouquet – she definitely looks like a queen!
Oh. Em. Gee. How did I not see this before? I almost fell off of my seat. I love the unexpected twist on this Alice in Wonderland trend. The cake… the flowers.. the painted peacock feather in her hair, the colors – BEAUTIFUL!

How Magical!!! I love that she choose the Queen of Hearts rather than Alice…she so much more fun!
[...] I’m loving the different heights of these flowers and I love that it’s monochromatic without using just one type of flower. Many different types of flowers in the same color make the flowers all about the texture and is beautifully subtle. Found HERE. [...]
