I want to become a society lady Rockin' a new rock?!

Today, we are featuring Julie and Bryan’s GORGEOUS black tie engagement shot by our very favorite photographer, Jen Huang. As a fun addition, we asked Julie to tell us a little about how they met. Their story is so sweet and is a perfect compliment to their Manhattan engagement session.

We found each other when we were least expecting it — at a bar. That discovery has since taken us around every corner of New York City, but there’s no place quite like the Upper West Side. It has been our home for the past four years and Lincoln Center encapsulates many things we love about the city: culture, diversity and timelessness. It was the perfect backdrop to commemorate our ever-evolving romance with each other and our neighborhood. The modern aesthetics of the plaza naturally lends itself to dramatic entrances, so I decided to (really) dress up for the occasion. When else could one get away with having on black tie attire during the day?
