Helaina Storey Wedding Design developed the concept for this Organic Chateau Love Story based around the authentic French setting of Chateau de Redon. It’s a mix of rustic-chic and luxurious, contemporary, high-end interiors. Opting for a palette of stony neutrals and pale, dusky greys, the team incorporated different textures in the stationery by Bureau Design, ribbons by Kate Cullen and gowns from Luna Bride. We’re especially loving the abundant floral installations and greenery from Bloomologie. Anneli Marinovich Photography was behind the lens capturing all the details in these fine art images.
From the stylist : It was absolutely key that the editorial be as authentic as possible and work seamlessly within its surroundings. The natural chemistry of our ‘couple’ played the perfect part in achieving this, along with most of the foliage being foraged from within the extensive, beautiful grounds of Chateau de Redon.
Our bride wore two stunning clean and crisp designs by Luna Bride, both encapsulating the minimalist vibe of the shoot and reflecting the modern, luxe interiors, along with natural, understated makeup and tousled, laid-back locks, styled by AMM Team.
A full stationery suite by Bureau Design also followed our theme of raw, elegant simplicity and our stand out features were Bloomologie’s spectacular floral arch, pampas grass ceremony altar and the most incredible, wild and natural green and white piece for Redon’s glorious winding staircase.
The outdoor tablescape was designed to work in juxtaposition with its backdrop and included modern, grey masters chairs from Wedhead London and concrete candlestick holders with simple tableware and natural, unstructured blooms for color and texture. Blossom and Crumb’s perfectly pared-back cake design was styled with fruits and foliage from the grounds, in keeping with and inspired by the rest of our organic and authentic concept.
The narrative was a sweet, simple and natural, intimate destination wedding in a contemporary, rustic, boutique setting with stunning views across the Dordogne, France. Chateau de Redon creates the utterly perfect ambience for this.
