Today we’re taking you to the Mediterranean with a bright and dreamy editorial in the Greek Isles. Set in Santorini against the backdrop of piercing blue seas and bright white architecture and led by creative Tahnee Sanders of Boheme Workshops, the vivid inspiration is abundant. We LOVE the bold pink and coral palette in the florals by Celsia Floral and tablescape planned by Stella And Moscha, Spread Love Events and The Cross Design. The relaxed elegance of the stationery by Tara Spencer and the organic appeal of the Cake By Annie provide additional textures to the natural island romance. Lucky for us, Sandy And Odysseas Photography were on board to capture all the beautiful details in their signature fine-art style.
fromBoheme Workshops: There was a refinement to the Hellenistic world (323 – 150 BC), a graceful pressure to its expressions. A world of privilege with enviable ease where people, like their gods, moved fluidly around. Seductive, with resonant, occasionally hesitant lines and transparent washes of color, in its own way it was as daring as human life itself.
Drawing upon the aesthetics of the era, we land in Santorini, the isle that rests in the middle on the indigo Aegean, looking like a giant slab of layered cake, for an editorial shoot that celebrates wide-angles and emotions as manifested in that glorious artistic period. Multicolored cliffs soar over 300m from a sea-drowned caldera. Much as in that thoroughly cosmopolitan stance of the past, it is all about the things left unsaid.
