His Story

I still feel like it was just yesterday when Beth and I sat down for a blind lunch date. I knew right away she was someone special and someone I wanted to get to know more.

Almost 5 years later I was able to ask my best friend if she would marry me. To be honest, she said yes before I could even get the words out of my mouth!

We’ve been through some ups and downs, some highs and lows…but one thing never changed…our love for each other.

I’m looking forward to our life as a married couple and there is no other person I could imagine spending the rest of my life with.

Her Story

A family friend set me up on a blind date with Lawson, and there was immediate chemistry. We talked and talked and had a great lunch before he headed out of town. I thought he was so cute and sweet, and we had a lot in common. He called me as soon as he got back, and we have been inseparable since.

When I was little and dreamt of who my husband would be, I couldn’t have wished for a more perfect match. Lawson is my rock. We enjoy life’s happy moments together and are there for each other through the challenging times.

Last October at one of my favorite places, Soho Beach House in Miami, with both of our families there, he asked me to marry him. It’s true – he could hardly get the question out before I blurted “yes!” It was amazing to share that special moment with our families.

I’m so excited to soon be his wife and continue our lives together.

Couple’s Wedding Theme: Romantic Glam on the Gulf

As an event and wedding planner coordinating my own wedding, I couldn’t be more excited to share this journey. I envision a day filled with love and laughter surrounded by our friends and family in celebration of Lawson and I.  Rosemary Beach is such a sweet town, and we are excited for guests to experience the quaint but sophisticated vibe it has to offer. Our reception will be tented on the lawn beside the white sandy beaches of the Gulf at sunset. The color palette includes romantic shades of champagne, gold, cream and blush paired with chandeliers, multiple layers of textured linens and soft flowers mixed with natural embellishments.
