I want to become a society lady Rockin' a new rock?!

Tatiana is from Moscow and Wayne is from Sydney, they met while living in Singapore and were engaged in Koh Samui where they returned 8 months later to celebrate their nuptials at the Intercontinental Samui. Friends and family came from all over the world for the gorgeous day planned by The Wedding Bliss Thailand which featured a ceremony atop the infinity pool overlooking an epic scenic backdrop followed by a romantic-glam outdoor reception under the twinkling lights strung from tree to tree. Florals were by IAMFLOWER with stationery and paper by Ivy for Studio OhlalaSaya Photography was on hand to capture all the magic (and cotton candy sunset!) in these beautiful images.

What made the wedding special and unique?

We spent the whole week with family and friends who traveled across the world to be there with us, and it was a wedding week, not just a day! It was a unique chance to bring everyone together, giving I’m from Moscow, Wayne is from Sydney (where we are living now) and we met and lived in Singapore. We also got engaged in Koh Samui and returned 8 months later to get married.

Tell us about the gown and where/how you found it!

I just fell in love with the dress on a picture and went to try it on, and it was the very first dress I tried. I got it from Moira Hughes, a boutique in Sydney. I customised the design to make the dress very my own.

What were some touches added to make the wedding personal?

The location – giving we came back to the place we got engaged. Also the music – the very iconic Australian song finished the party + Russian bride/groom entry song –  to acknowledge both home countries. The overall style – theme/colours/design – was very “us”.

What was the most memorable part of the day?

The whole day to be honest, every minute has a special place in our hearts from the get ready with our bridal party to fireworks in the end. But the moment we first saw each other is the most special one.

Tell us how you met and became engaged.

We both moved to Singapore for work and met over there in 2015.  We moved back to Sydney in July 2017 and became engaged in Koh Samui in June 2018.
