I want to become a society lady Rockin' a new rock?!

Happy weekend! Our first Sunday Funday post HAD to be about one of my loves: dancing. As fun as it is to shake your thing to Usher, there’s something to be said for classic ballroom dancing. It is an absolute delight and regardless of whether or not you’re great at it, the whole fiasco can be such a ball to attempt, that I highly recommend it. Besides, it has a lot to teach us about relationships and what it takes to make a couple glide across the dance floor: communication, practice, leading, following and rhythm.

Even if you don’t think you’ll want to waltz on your wedding day, a quick dance lesson or two never hurt anyone…and why not make it TEN TIMES more fun by inviting your bridal party to join you? Group lessons are cheaper than private, and it would be a great opportunity for everyone in your bridal party to get to know one another before the big day. (Have I mentioned how big I am on pre-wedding activities?)

You and your beau may not be ready for Dancing with the Stars after only a few lessons, but you’ll have an absolute blast attempting the Tango. And if your not a bride, but know one, dance lessons make a GREAT gift.
