From Gorjana: We have always had a bridal customer and I’ve wanted to expand to that market for some time now, so a collaboration with Jen from Green Wedding Shoes was a perfect fit to tap into that market. The bridal market is a natural fit for the brand especially when it comes to bridesmaids jewelry. Our pieces have always made great bridesmaids gifts because they are so versatile, unique, and classic so they can be worn after the big day.
For the Green Wedding Shoes Collection, I wanted to create pieces that would take bridal and bridesmaid jewelry to the next level. I love the delicate nature of the pieces in this collection. They truly make for beautiful accents and will make any bride or bridesmaid feel unique on the big day. A bit about the collection from Jen Campbell the founder + editor of Green Wedding Shoes: For Green Wedding Shoes’ first collaboration with Gorjana, I set out to create a unique collection of jewelry for modern brides, bohemian brides, and their bridesmaids that allowed the mixing and matching of pieces to create just the right look for each wedding party. I also wanted pieces that would easily translate into daily wear after the big day, a huge bonus for anyone who’s been in a wedding!
As we kicked off the design process, I drew my inspiration for the collection from nature and textures. I just love the beautiful lace details of a wedding gown, the raw edges of druzy stones, organic-leaf elements, and tiny, delicate details with lots of layers. Then I worked with Gorjana to pair these timeless elements with some of my current loves for this season: rose gold, druzy stones, unique rings, and jewelry headpieces.
