From Poppy Design Co.: In this series, I used a ton of color. Jewel tones are really happy, and they really work well together. There isn’t much rule when working with such an abundance choice in tones, just go for what you love. For this series, we found a lot of inspiration from simply walking the market and choosing healthy, seasonal blooms in rich, deep tones.

We’re feeling incredibly inspired by this luscious, styled shoot. Maybe it’s because we’re celebrating all-things-mom in honor of the littlest Lady Grey’s arrival…or, maybe it’s because we’re ready for a slice of summery, strawberry pie. Renee Nicole, along with Kelly Hancock Event Planning, created the shoot in honor of Mother’s Day, featuring a bride and her (real) grandmother, mother, sister, and niece. With this shoot the team wanted to celebrate the lovely ladies and the rich heritage that are the backbone of a couple and ultimately, a marriage.

The production team started referring to this shoot as the “homegrown” shoot as it not only celebrates the women who prepared the bride for her journey as a wife; but it also took place at her childhood home and featured fun details such as a family tree seating chart, a “long line of love” photo display, and a berry bar with berries from the family’s farm.

Blooming Fairytale Elopement

We’re completely enamored with the gorgeous dusting of springtime all over this dreamy styled shoot by J29 Events. The soft whites and ethereal quality of a blooming almond orchard set an incredible backdrop and Olivia Smartt totally captured it’s fairytale-like qualities. Stunning florals by Tango & Foxtrot, calligraphy by Graceline Art and silk ribbon by Adorn Company add to the overall feminine romance. And, we absolutely must note, that we’re head-over-heels for the cake. A Spoonful of Sugar Cakes managed to create a two-tier, edible representation of the mood of the entire shoot—it’s absolute perfection!
