After the most incredible wedding a girl could dream of, Bryan and I are whisking off to St. Lucia on a honeymoon planned by Katie of Ever After Honeymoons. While we’re gone, we have tons of gorgeous weddings and inspiration to tide you over, and when I’m back, I’ll be working on my firsthand tips for you brides! But before we jump on the plane, I thought I’d share with you a little about our honeymoon. First up, Katie put together a packing list for me. I die. All of it. Get in my suitcase:

St. Lucia is full of activities for both the adventure seeker and the beach lounger! That means when packing it’s important to think ahead about the types of activities you and your new spouse are choosing to do while there. There will be days you’re in athletic shoes and running shorts for ziplining or hiking and other days where you won’t get out of your swimsuit until you head to dinner! No matter what she’s doing, we all know that Summer will look fashionable so I pulled some packing essentials from some of her faves: J. Crew, Madewell, and Kate Spade. The island has a laid back vibe so summer staples such as bright colors, nautical stripes, and strappy sandals will be your best bet. Don’t forget your cute sunnies, a small clutch, and your iPad or reader filled with magazines and lazy day materials (all in a cute Kate Spade case of course)!
Our first stop on the island of St. Lucia will be Cap Maison, where we’ll be staying for three nights. This boutique hotel features many suites with private rooftop decks and pools, fabulous amenities, and five star service (so pretty much everything a honeymooner could dream of!).
Our next stop is Body Holiday, an all inclusive resort that includes all your food and drink, a spa treatment every day (SERIOUSLY?), and even includes activities like yoga, sailing lessons, water skiing, golf, and tennis. I could NOT be more excited about the adventures and relaxation in store.
Last but not least is Jade Mountain. The images truly speak for themselves, but this place is absolutely majestic. The resort is built into the mountain and each room features incredible views, private infinity pools, and only three walls–creating the feeling that you are floating above the island and at one with nature. How incredible and absolutely romantic.
There’s a slight possibility that we won’t come back.
