Stephanie and Mark’s rooftop reception at The Cape offered a 360-degree view of Cabo and a stunning sunset-inspired color palette for a beach-front celebration coordinated by About Love and captured by Ana and Jerome. We’re loving the colors of the tablescape accented by soft, feminine florals by Florenta. The overall look is the perfect blend for the bride who appreciates both the textural elegance of a European reception and all the scenery of a destination wedding.
What made the wedding special and unique?
It’s really hard to pinpoint what was so special about our wedding because everything felt special to us! The intimate rooftop with a 360 degree view of Cabo where our reception was held is a good start. The location and views from the The cape hotel in Cabo is just to die for. We didn’t want our wedding to be typical and we made a lot of choices based on making the experience enjoyable for our guests.
Tell us about the gown and where/how you found it!
I found the Monique Lhuillier gown at Bridal Galleria in San Francisco. It’s definitely not what I had in mind but the second I put it on I fell in love with its ethereal feel and how comfortable it was.
What were some touches added to make the wedding personal?
We had an amazing violinist and guitarist duo for a few hours, but after that our very close friend DJ’ed the party. So before the wedding we carefully curated the playlist to be a solid mix of dance music interspersed with classic vocals and eclectic tunes everyone could enjoy.
What was the most memorable part of the day?
Most memorable part of the day was definitely saying I do. Our amazing friend Steve officiated the wedding for us and he did such a great job!
Tell us how you met and became engaged.
Mark and I met through friends but he knew about me for about a year before he got the chance to actually meet me. When we met we definitely had an instant connection. He proposed when we were in London for New Year’s Eve 4 years exactly after the day we met.
