I want to become a society lady Rockin' a new rock?!

Kristen and Russ’s wedding is the perfect way to end the holiday week, because both the bride and groom serve our country as members of the U.S. Army. Their wedding designers, Amber and Emily of Amber Karson Events told us a bit more about the lovely details and the beautiful couple shot by Jodi Miller Photography:

It was a true honor to plan for Kirsten and Russ, both of whom serve in the U.S. Army. They wanted an intimate wedding full of personal details and it was a joy to collaborate on ideas to make that vision come to life. From the vintage china that Kirsten collected with her mom to the book escort display for this literature loving duo, every detail was packed with meaning and symbolism. We love when clients incorporate family heirlooms into their weddings. Kirsten reinterpreted a classic by pairing her mother’s pearls with the one’s Russ bought her by securing the two strands with a family brooch. We adore the designs of florists Janie Medley and had a wonderful time working with her to incorporate the collection of vessels and even pomegranates (an ancient symbol of fertility and bounty) into the table design. A wedding packed full of super amazing vendors and an adorably sweet couple we were so honored to work with – Kirsten and Russ’ Williamsburg wedding was certainly one of our favorites.
