I want to become a society lady Rockin' a new rock?!

We love Kathryn and Roberto’s classic wedding in San Francisco. Planned by Dream a Little Dream Events, the day included a traditional Catholic ceremony that incorporated the groom’s Salvadorean heritage and an elegant ballroom reception. The design is elegant with a hint of preppy showcasing white florals by Sharla Flock Designs and navy pinstripe tablecloths draped over family styles tables with gorgeous casual white-washed cafe chairs. The result is fresh, timeless and totally gorgeous. The couple enlisted Milou + Olin Photography to capture all the details and we know you’re going to love it!

from the photographer: Kathryn and Roberto wanted to plan a fun, yet classic, wedding, and the Flood Mansion was a perfect location for them to host their wedding bash! Since they had a very clear vision, we were able to take that and select the best vendor team for them knowing they really wanted everything to be nice and beautiful, but not to ever feel stuffy. Personal touches were found throughout the wedding: Roberto is Salvadorean so they incorporated coins (arras) and lazo into the Catholic ceremony. Appetizers included mini pupusas to honor his culture. Kathryn’s family is from Vermont, so little maple syrup bottles were handed out as favors.

The backdrop was created with beautiful long tables adorned with a faint navy and white striped linen, with white crossback chairs. Sharla Flock created lush olive branch garlands to run the length of the tables, and to pool on the floor to give it a slight whimsical look. Their menu was thoughtfully curated with Global Gourmet Catering, and was executed flawlessly on the wedding day, with everyone raving about the food. After the guests feasted, they went into the room where the band was waiting to get their party really going, and they danced right up until that last song played. Their wedding was full of laughs, smiles, tears and joy, as you could feel their love, and how much effort they put into planning their perfect day.
