The stunning views, canopies of trees, and surrounding gardens of Beltane Ranch were the perfect fit for Karla and Peter’s romantic wedding weekend in wine country. The couple hired A Savvy Event to plan their day and execute all the personalized details like the guests’ garden walk, with placards narrating the couple’s love story leading them to the ceremony site. Florals by Loop Event Arts are a highlight of the ceremony and reception and a relaxed farm-to-table menu was perfect for the reception under the expansive old, oak trees. What made the wedding special and unique?
We created a special “garden walk” for when guests arrived for the wedding. Before reaching the ceremony site, guests received refreshments then proceeded down a winding path through a beautiful garden. Throughout the garden, we’d placed signs that told the story of our love. How we met, what we love about each other, happy memories we have, trips we’ve taken together, etc. It set the stage and mood for them to arrive at our ceremony site.
What was the most memorable part of the day?
One of my favorite memories from my wedding day was actually the morning yoga session with friends. It really set the tone of the splendid, and relaxed day ahead.
After the ceremony Peter and I took 15 minutes of alone time. It was such a special and intimate moment. We couldn’t stop calling each other “husband!” and “ wife!” From up on the second floor of the Ranch House, it also allowed us to look down from the balcony at ours guests enjoying cocktail hour and cherish the moment – really take it all in!
