Nichole and Thomas are a gorgeous couple who met and reside in France. However they hosted a simple and elegant wedding here in the U.S. One of our favorite things about this wedding is it’s simplicity–we are reminded how easy and carefree a wedding can be when you invite only your nearest and dearest and focus on elegant details. Nicole and Thomas met and reside in Paris, however for their wedding they decided to host in Virginia where her family resides and her friends would be able to visit for the wedding.
Their wedding was a small gathering for a total of 25 people, so personal touches and quality were very important to the bride. She wanted the wedding to be easy, laid back, classic, elegance, with franco-american touches. The single long table was laid with the family’s heirloom silver, chargers, crystal and china. Favors were French tea, and champagne abounded. After dinner the party moved down to the barn for dancing under globe lights and dessert. Guests were treated to traditional American wedding cake, but also French Macarons.
