There are so many things we’re loving about Ciara and Tai’s gorgeous garden-inspired wedding from Natalie Bray Photography. The ceremony design by planner Lavish Wed is striking and positioned for breathtaking views of the San Diego skyline. The bridal party is perfect in pastel and floral crowns. But, by far, our favorite part is that Ciara and Tai are Junior High sweethearts . The lighthearted romance of their wedding day was in celebration of fourteen years of loving each other—and a lifetime more. It doesn’t get much sweeter than that.
from the planner: Set against the stunning San Diego Skyline, Ciara and Tai committed their lives and hearts to one another after almost 14 years together. Ciara and Tai are Jr. High sweethearts. They have seen each other grow into the sensational individuals they are today. With love, patience, and lots of laughter they set out to create an environment of romance for their guests.
Tom Ham’s lighthouse brought a classic romantic feel with ceremony arch donned with lovely blooms from Urban Garden Floral and chandelier to add some twinkle. Plus, who can stop looking at that San Diego skyline? This celebration was the most anticipated event of the decade for their families. Ciara and Tai planned their ceremony to make sure to capture the best light. With the help of Christine of Lavish Weddings the garden-inspired theme brought in lovely details; such as delicate floral crowns, muted colors, calligraphy aisle signs, and seating chart cascading with blooms.
Ciara looked stunning in her feminine lace gown and gorgeous lace Jimmy Choo heels. She wanted the wedding party to also incorporate the romantic garden feel, so she chose Jenny Yoo bridesmaid dresses in a variety of pastel colors. Then, each bridesmaid brought their own personal twist by styling each dress differently. Surrounded by family and friends they danced the night away and have stolen our hearts.
