I want to become a society lady Rockin' a new rock?!

Grab your passport because Chymo and More Photography is taking us on a breathtaking tour of Amsterdam in this gorgeous elopement session. The historic locations are spectacular (think Architectural-Digest-meets-wedding-portraits) and combined with Chymo’s incredibly beautiful fine-art photography style and the result is a killer, classic European editorial vibe. We’re totally inspired and know you will be too!

from the photographer: Coming from The Hague (the south of Holland), the bride has been working in Amsterdam for several years and fallen in love with it since then. They decided to have their elopement session in Museum van Loon, located on the prince canal with an impressive collection of fine rooms and an exquisite little garden. Then we continued wandering around Grachtengordel (canal district), and finished the photoshoot at Hortus Botanicus Amsterdam. The palm greenhouse and water lilies are beyond romantic, but our whole heart went for the bizarre and impressive cactus greenhouse.

What made the elopement special and unique?

We loved wandering around some of our favorite spots including the botanical garden, taking the day easy and casual, walking into a flower shop and getting a bouquet made in front of us. It was truly a day without any hassle and our love documented by the photographer utterly.

Tell us about the dress and where/how you found it!

I loved the vintage design of the dress with romantic, flowy sleeve details. It was purchased from a local shop in China.

What was the most memorable part of the day?

When we passed by the flower shop A.P.Bloem, we decided to request a bouquet made in front of us. It was a compulsory decision, but the owner was so thrilled to meet a walk-in bride and groom for the first time and kept telling us how special this was. We were really touched and happy.
