Okay, you guys—this wedding totally has us boohooing! It’s so romantic! Fully equipped with Tuscan views and gorgeous vintage florals, it’s dripping with European style. But, most of all, it has an incredibly happy bride and groom. The joyful love between New Yorker Allison and native Florentine Davide is palpable in Stefano Santucci Studio gorgeous, documentary-style images. From SposiamoVi: The wedding took place at Villa Corsini Mezzomonte, a Renaissance villa 15 kilometers south of Florence famous for its magnificent frescoes. Allison and Davide exchanged vows in the Italian gardens of the Villa, underneath a sweet arch made of vines and flowers.
Given their love for food, the reception menu could not have been short of Tuscan specialties food stations: hand cut Salumi, Caprese, summery Tuscan soups…true heaven for any foodie! The magnificent Eastern gallery hosted the wedding dinner. Round tables were arranged in the finest Tuscan style: tall gold candelabras, vintage vases and urns filled with light coral, orange, misty purple and light lavender garden roses paired with gold rimmed Ginori plates and pretty decorated bread plates. Guests were delighted by a mouthwatering menu including fresh home made ravioli.
During dinner an opera tenor surprised guests with an outstanding performance of Puccini’s iconic opera Nessun Dorma. And in the after dinner party: wedding cake show-making, Italian confetti bar, dessert bar, and cigar corner to ensure guests a unique sensorial experience.
