I want to become a society lady Rockin' a new rock?!

For those of you (like ME!) that are have a fairly established home, wedding registries are a bit of a quandary, because a lady can only have so many KitchenAid Mixers before she’s out of room. After pretty tableware and new silverware, I sort of ran out of ideas. But what I am currently collecting is artwork! And the real stuff–the good stuff–is pricey. So when we “met” our new sponsor, UGallery, it felt like a dream come true.

My fave painting:

UGallery is an online art gallery that sells original, one-of a kind artworks. They showcase 5,000-6,000 pieces of art on our site at any given time, and their art covers a range of prices, mediums, and styles. What’s even better, their collection of art is curated, so each piece is high-quality and has been hand selected by an expert panel.

Bryan and I can hand select artwork, and our friends and family have the opportunity to give us an incredibly memorable gift that will make our home more lovely. Plus, if we fall in love with a particularly pricey piece, guests can contribute to a portion of the artwork in a joint effort to nab our fave!

Flutter Mag is an online wedding magazine with tons of gorgeous features and shoots and their launch is perfect timing for your weekend magazine/coffee/pajamas routine that I know we all love. To celebrate the launch, one of our favorite designers, Kelly Oshiro, put together 12 bridal looks based on astrology signs. So fun, right? Since I’m a Virgo, I’m getting to feature her Virgo bride.

From Kelly:

“Kim from Flutter Mag approached me about doing a 12 look series on bridal style inspired by the signs of the Zodiac. For each sign, I looked to famous celebrities to get a sense of that sign’s style as well as researching the various characteristics of each sign.

Catch more sneak peeks over on Snippet and Ink, The Sweetest Occasion and SB Chic and see all 12 signs at Flutter Mag!

We love love love a blush wedding gown, and Anneliese’s Maggie Sottero gown is no exception. The light color is a perfect match for Anneliese and Cory’s sandy sunset vows–all the soft hues are total pastel perfection. Very special thanks to Red Fly Studio for sending us such dreamy images.

Our first spring workshop was an absolute success! I’m so excited to share the images with you, but until our full feature, I thought you might enjoy a quick sneak peek. This image was shot on film by Coco Tran, one of our attendees. That gorg bouquet is by Megan Gray of Honey and Poppies. If you are a photographer looking for REALLY beautiful stuff to shoot, consider signing up for one of our next shoots!

Jenna of Creatix Photography sent us Emily and Justin’s engagement session, which is entirely styled and dialed (by TOAST) with the Pantone of the year: emerald. I’m in to it. While not most engagement sessions are meant to be this hard core, we love the sea meets glam, emerald meets sand inspiration. I ADORE pops of color in tablecloths especially, and am feeling so inspired by this shoot! Plus, Emily and Justin are adorbs, no?
