I want to become a society lady Rockin' a new rock?!

For this Little Sahara, UT (Sand Dunes) shoot, the creators / visionaries chose to simulate the Utah desert sunset with soft neutral hues of yellow, blush, orange and red with the florals as a stark contrast in the unadorned desert setting. Ambra from Query Events about the stunning model and her dress: “We paired our dark haired model with the Bainbridge Alexandra Grecco gown with tons of movement and a slit for days.” Query Events skillfully planned, designed, and arranged the florals in this gorgeous shoot, and aren’t we incredibly lucky that Callie Manion Photography was there to capture every perfect detail? We think it’s amazing, and we think you will too.

Inspired by the desert landscape, a team of Texas vendors made the trip to the gorgeous sand dunes of Little Sahara right outside of Salt Lake City. Designer Ambra Costner-Portillo of Query Events used a neutral color story with floral arrangements meant to mimic the sunset – butter yellows, soft oranges, blush and red.

Keeping all textures and elements as true to the existing landscape as possible, meant for a story that looks at home together. We knew we wanted a minimalist dress with zero “fuss” to really showcase how gorgeous our native Salt Lake City model is – a true desert girl!

You can just feel the desert wind in these photos! We love the location and the variation in landscape – everything came together just beautifully!
