I want to become a society lady Rockin' a new rock?!

Calling all modern brides! We’re excited to bring you this styled shoot from Sweetheart Events and Simply Rose Photography. The mood is streamlined and chic but still with an element of naturalness and a West Coast vibe. We’re loving the combo of traditionally masculine elements like concrete and steel with soft elements like the organic tablescape and the romantic florals from Garden Party Flowers. It’s proof that with careful editing you can combine his + hers design styles to create a totally authentic and beautiful day! Enjoy!

From Sweetheart Events: The color palette was soft using dove grey as an anchor and rose quartz for some visual diversity. I wanted the flowers and décor to be simple but with enough complex elements to be interesting to look at. There is also the interaction of hard and soft elements on the tablescape with the concrete, wood and steel paired with the chiffon draping and linen napkins. The concrete candle holders were handmade by myself with the script done by Elizabeth Barr of Sweetheart Events. The cake was created to mimic the look of concrete yet softened with the addition of some floral pieces. The stationery was simple with a focus on using the same script as the candle holders for continuity.
