From the photographer: The sun’s rays are streaming through the windows of her childhood home, wrapping them in warmth as they prepare for their simple and meaningful dedication to each other that day. “Je t’aime, darling” he whispers to her as they help each other get dressed. With just an officiant and a small group of dear family and friends, they both vow to love each other for the rest of their days against the backdrop of her family home. An elegant table for two, with chairs draped in a a greenery and floral garland and a gauzy table runner that catches beautifully in the breeze, is set with family heirlooms and laden with delicious pastries to enjoy. As the sun begins to set and their intimate celebration winds down, a basket containing fresh bread, fruit, wine, and cheese is thoughtfully prepared for the newlyweds to enjoy later as leave for their honeymoon on their Vespa. Wrapped in each other arms, and with dusk settling in, they dance and picnic together along the way to their destination. “Love is an adventure”, she says with a smile, “and we’re just getting started.”
