I want to become a society lady Rockin' a new rock?!

“Today is the day I marry you, my best friend” read the banner—in lovely brush lettering— behind Hannah and Isaac as they said their vows in front of 72 of their closest family and friends at Crabtree’s Kittle House. The bed and breakfast and it’s lovely gardens are set just 30 miles outside of New York city and created the perfect venue for the couple’s intimate wedding celebration. Rainstorms only accentuated the beauty of the grounds and the details of the day planned by Fitting Fêtes. The soft color palette and incredibly romantic florals by Heart and Soil Flowers are beyond photogenic and thankfully, Grey Collective member Katherine Ridgely was on hand to capture the details and lovely couple in her signature film style.

What made your wedding special and unique?

What made the wedding special and unique is that we were surrounded by a small group of people who truly loved us. We were determined from the start to only abide to traditions that had special meaning to us as a couple, and because of this we were able to keep our guest list small and intimate.

Tell us about your gown and where / how you found it!

I found my gown while working at Lovely Bride – I actually put it on a client and in that very moment knew it was for me!

Tell us about your venue and why it was memorable?

Answer: We only visited a few other venues before our visit to Crabtree’s Kittle House. We loved the beautiful space and how fitting it would be for our intimate gathering, but what really sealed the deal was talking to the team there. Unlike many other venues, they were flexible and open to customizing the experience for us and we really loved that.

What was the most memorable part of your wedding day?

There’s a part in that day that I’ll always remember – Isaac was walking around, talking to guests, and I was sitting at my seat. I took a moment to look around and everyone was happy, smiling, and there because they genuinely loved us and were happy for us. It was just maybe fifteen seconds or so, but I’m so glad I remembered to soak in that moment because it’s a memory I cherish every day. The other special moment was our first look! We hadn’t seen each other all day and right as I was walking up to Isaac, I felt so nervous! When he turned around I couldn’t help but shed a few tears – there were so many emotions running through me!
