Nestled in the hills of Oregon’s lush wine country, there sits an estate appearing to drop straight out of the countryside of Catalonia, Spain. Statues, stone masonry, ponds, pergolas, archways, sky-touching Italian cypress, vine-wrapped pillars, olive trees, stone steps leading from one garden sanctuary to the next. Villa Catalana Cellars is simply divine. Lusciously layered old roses and grape vines wind around every pillar, while tendrils of green vines emerge out of each stone crevasse, stretching towards unending sunshine and rain from above.

This private estate magnetized Betsy Blue Photography into hosting a private fine art film workshop, customized for one of her mentoring clients. Discussions of film and lighting nuances were held across the lush 14-acres, surrounded by Mediterranean gardens rich in unique flora. Kaleb Norman James styled a velvety table cascading with light-infused blooms along with multiple flatlays spread out in magnificent order with drama and simple romance alike…all richly fragranced with hints of Europe.

Betsy’s dedication to her mentoring clients is evident in the attention she gives to customizing each private workshop to her client’s brand style and business needs, giving them knowledge along with a rich gallery to walk away with that symbolized the culmination of months of study, practice and hard work.

Paris is always a good idea—and we can’t wait for that good idea to be a possibility again. But, until then, this gorgeous inspiration shoot from Wike Zijlstra Photography and Michelle Wever Photography will have to do. Taking a cue from the backdrop of the city, the team employed a palette that includes beige with golden accents with accents of dusty pink and a crisp green. The gorgeous elopement scenes are captured at the Petit Palais—with the giant, gold door, Jardin du Tuileries for some garden vibes and ended with a champagne at Le Louvre. Florals are by The Bridal Blush with stationery by Leintjes and the gown is NOYA by Riki Dalal. Take in all the sights and scenes of Paris in these stunning images!

from the team: The bride is edgy, but romantic and The Alba Room at the Foundry was the perfect blank canvas to create that atmosphere for a small wedding party. The white-washed brick walls adds intrigue with its texture yet allows for a clean backdrop. I love how the glass roof fills the room with light. It gives the feeling of being outside even though it’s indoors. High ceilings also make space feel bigger. This is important when the max capacity is 70 people and you want to maintain a feeling of airiness.

We kept the bride’s gown simple yet elegant. This is one of Tatyana Merenyuk’s signature looks. The chiffon gown embodies romance. It’s soft, fun, and moves with ease. The blush color of the dress embraces femininity. It’s complemented with the bride’s platinum blonde hair, styled in an effortlessly chic blunt cut softened with waves.

As for the tablescape, we chose pastel shades of blues, pinks, and pops of yellows to set the whimsical tone. With modern romance in mind, orchids make a statement and add a tropical edge when combined with selected romantic blooms. To tie the look together, we draped the dinner table with beautiful natural linens set with pastel blue plates and deckled edge menus. No wedding is complete without the cake! “By Pensa” baked this sleek two-tiered cake adorned with a whimsical bloom sprouting up along the side. Finally, we crafted some beautiful cocktails and bubblies. They add a sophisticated twist to refreshments on those hot summer days, keeping guests happy and dancing the night away.
