Hygge in Norwegian means “to embrace” or “a pleasant and highly valued experience of safety, equality, personal wholeness and a spontaneous social flow.” It is a feeling or moment of contentment and served as the perfect inspiration for this simple, intimate wedding inspiration from J Noelle Design. Gathered florals by Leuca Floral create a lilac and ocher palette while ethereal styling complete with headpieces from Sparrow Station reflect Nordic culture. Refined, beautiful details take center stage in this timeless inspiration and it’s all captured to perfection by Mary Jessica Photography.

Persephone Floral Atelier was inspired by Picasso’s painting “Blue Nude” and together with planner William Amorella, they crafted the concept for a pensive yet blithe wedding look. The styled shoot evokes a feeling of moody elegance with the Hickory Street Annex lending it’s signature blue, textural patina as a backdrop. Stationery and paper is by Proper Letter, warm florals are by Persephone Floral Atelier, ethereal dress is Leanne Marshall and Rebecca Fougerousse of Red Fern Photo was behind the lens capturing it all.

Tuscany is one of the most popular elopement destinations in Italy. Most couples marry during the summer months, but the fall season has its own advantages, namely in the lack of crowds and tourists, but also the beautiful colors of the landscape. Weddings in Tuscany designed this stunning shoot at Villa Catignano to celebrate the visual potential of an autumn Italian elopement incorporating the palette of the season with browns and neutrals, along with shades of red from the vineyards and the foliage, lilac and pastel for the sunset and bright greens found throughout Tuscany. Heaven Flowers created the lovely florals, Sprekelmann lended her talented hand with the calligraphy and Esther and Gabe Fine Art Photography captured it all in these dreamy images.
