I want to become a society lady Rockin' a new rock?!

Caitlin Krebs Events was inspired by old-meets-new, with a goal of bringing a bit of late nineteenth century antiquity to modern times. Specifically the team aimed to channel Jane Austen’s Pride & Prejudice and we are completely on board with it. Liriodendron Mansion‘s gorgeous architecture and garden-like atmosphere created the perfect backdrop for a scene that could be easily mistaken for the English countryside. Sandy hues and pink tones in the fabulous florals by Steelcut Flower Co. compliment the lush greenery. Texture is added with the the vintage Gossamer gown and handmade paper suite by Shotgunning for Love Letters and velvet The Mrs. Box. Topping it all off was Megan Harris Photography behind the lens working her magic with these stunning fine art images.

Set in Paris, this dramatic floral fairytale editorial spearheaded by Audrey Paris Photo is a visual feast. The suite at Hotel de Crillon created a luxurious backdrop with its exquisite furnishings and picturesque views of Place de la Concorde. Djordje Varda matched the interior’s extravagance with an over-the-top botanical display featuring blooming branches that reached high into the gold molded ceilings, setting the mood of a garden fairy tale. The drama is matched in the bridal styling by Cristina Macedo, featuring a beaded  Galia Lahav gown and moody make up. Lucky for us, photographer Rachael Kazmier was on hand to capture all the magic in these stunning images.

Welcoming, sensual, minimal, organic, and artisanal are the words Alexandra McNamara found inspiration in for this modern, blush editorial. Sourcing maker quality items from the likes of Notary CeramicsLeanne Marshall and  Silk and Willow was key to the overall mood. Hunt and Gather  created florals with a unique mix of warm and neutral tones and foraged foliage, in line with the organic and natural story of the shoot. While warm candlelight and stationery on handmade cotton paper by Paula Lee Calligraphy provided the finishing touches and Christine Lim was behind the lens capturing all the details in these lovely film images.

Elise, of TOAST Events, drew inspiration for this ethereal, fall editorial from the transformation of plant life throughout the seasons. When it’s cold, snowy and dreary outside, Elise finds warmth in the dried fountain grasses blowing in the wind and the withered wildflowers preserved in the snow. To bring her vision to life, Pollen Nation Floral Studio was enlisted to create the larger-than-life floral structure from dried grasses and blooms and suspended in the white-washed warehouse venue. The muted charcoal sketched stationery by LaFabère, the opulent hand-made crown from Sarah Walsh Bridal Jewellery, and textural blush cake by The Cake Whisperer add to the dreamy styling. Laura Kelly Photography was on hand to capture all the details seen here in her stunning images.

Hidden in the heart of London lies a piece of historical romance—Home House, an elegant venue where celebrations and intimate moments have been captured since 1773. This gorgeous editorial planned and styled by Elmo Paper Stories and captured by Julie Michaelsen Photography celebrates the opulent, the intensity and the romance of the renaissance era seen here through the eyes of a 2018 bride and groom. The team, including florist Jo Flowers, cake designer Mimolo Designs, and atelier Morgan Davies Bridal were inspired by the contradictions of an old love in a young couple, the ancient venue in a modern city, and most of all by a piece of history where time stands still in a world of fast paced modernity.
