The Pigeon Letters and CK Event Design combined creative forces to bring to life a soft and elegant wedding design paired with green accents and modern touches. Oregan’s Bindery in McMinnville provided the perfect backdrop for the look with soft light pouring in through the endless windows and a subtle industrial feel, it let every element shine. A beautiful marriage of romantic and edgy shines in The Pigeon Letters‘s hand lettered invitations, the tablescape with black accents, a green geode cake by Dream Cakes and of course the lush, feminine florals at every turn by Metal + Moss. Lucky for us, Lauryn Kay Photography was on hand to capture all the details in these gorgeous photographs.

This shoot, from creator Rachael Ellen Events, was inspired by the pairing of chic, classic elements with romantic, feminine details. Lush garden inspired florals, soft purple taper candles, wax sealed menu cards, and a romantic paper suite by Ink & Press Co. take this traditional design and both soften and modernized it. Every classic element had a modern romantic counterpart — his classic tux, her lavender dress. The traditional stone Monson Center, the lush outdoor tablescape. The look is the perfect fit for any bride who feels torn between two styles— commit to both and bridge the gaps with elements that go both ways! The Camarillo Ranch House is a beautiful historic venue, so SOO REW incorporated those classic and timeless elements while maintaining a modern and fresh, fall feel. The details play on femininity and masculinity with the juxtaposition of heavy textures and vibrant jewel tones. The grey hues of the velvet, metal, marble, and smokey tones of the stationery by Brown and Co. Designs add moody tones while the punchy florals by Knot Just Flowers add a bright, contemporary feel. A Spoonful of Sugar Cakes contributes a striking, graphic rounding out the contemporary autumnal barn wedding and  Patrick Quezada Photography was on hand to capture it all.
