Blue tulle gets us every time, so its no surprise that our hearts skipped a beat when Lucy Myers Events shared Rhea + Travis’ Ontario vow renewal with us. Rhea’s dusty blue tulle skirt is prominently featured amongst coastal-inspired and textured design elements, creating a luxurious and romantic vow renewal in an organic beach setting. Flowers are by Jane Marshall Flowers, the cake is by Cakey Bakey Boutique and it’s all captured beautifully by Evelyn Barkey Photography.
from the planner: Rhea + Travis started out the morning sipping champagne on the dock while preparing for the day. We asked Rhea to think about what she wanted to say to Travis, speaking honestly and from the heart. Travis arrived with a beautifully wrapped gift in one of our bamboo boxes from the Rented Gatherings decor collection, and inside the box was a swoon-worthy bracelet from Blair Nadeau.
When it came time to head to the ceremony location for their vow renewal, Rhea changed into a stunning floor length satin gown from Darling Bridal styled with a dusty-blue tulle skirt and a stunning statement piece from the Blair Nadeau collection.
The evening was capped with a dinner party on the beach. Our handsome mahogany harvest table and hand carved pergola were anchored in the middle of the sand, with a stunning waterfront backdrop. The table was lined with grey draping, adding a romantic softness that was then complimented by lush greenery filled with neutral blooms, and in the center hung a shell chandelier that provided a soothing chime in the wind throughout the evening. The grey settee, set with throw pillows and an oversized cable-knit throw blanket, added a coziness to the table that allowed the couple to snuggle up beside one another and feel comfortable. Sea shells with guest names were places atop beautiful dinnerware from Plate Occasions, and the couple toasted to many more years of happiness together with stunning crystal glassware.
After dinner the couple enjoyed an array of sweets from Cakey Bakey Boutique on a sweets table that was submersed in the water surrounded by floating petals and tulle.
