If you are a wedding photographer (or just a super awesome person) you are officially invited to the WPPI party we are hosting this year, in Las Vegas, along with Madera Books and Victor Sizemore Photography. There are lots more details coming soon, but I thought I’d give you a LITTLE hint as to what you might expect if you come to our party. Jan02 Sneak Peek and Happy New Year! 2012

We’re officially counting today as New Year’s day, seeing as how the Rose Parade and Rose Bowl will commence in a few hours. We are going to be back in full force tomorrow when the entire world comes back from vacation, but in the meantime, just because we’re tricksy sometimes, here’s a little sneak of what’s to come tomorrow… It’s sooooo good, I kinda want to shmear it on a french baguette and eat it for lunch:

Dec30 Lemonade and Scones 2011

Before we head into the new year, we’ve got one final wedding shot by Matthew Land that features a combining of cultures and traditions. This beautiful wedding takes place in London, where the couple served an afternoon tea with lemonade and scones. The dashing groom donned a Scottish kilt while many of the guests wore their own traditional wares as well!

For us, more than anything, we believe that beyond beautiful details and glamorous style, weddings are first and foremost a melding of a couple and their families. It’s so beautiful to see that represented in a marriage that melds together cultures and traditions at the behest of love.
