Oct07 Pink and Pine Cones: A Perfect Fall Pair 2011
Over the last week, we’ve featured a few shoots by Danielle Fletcher. This bridal shoot is the last of our featured series and I’m so excited to share it with you! Danielle’s work is so lovely and I just can’t get enough of it! Soak in the pretty of this Monique Lhuillier bridal gown and that rad bouquet. Pink + pine cones make for a perfect fall pair! (The bouquet is by Fallon Anderson with hair and make up by Misty Spinney).

Sep30 Romantic Wine Country Bridal Shoot 2011
It’s Friday! (As if you need me to tell you, right?).
Today we’ve got a really special feature. First off, images shot of film, which is always a treat. Second, a gorgeous day after bridal shoot that has me weak in the knees, thanks to photographer Danielle Fletcher (who is a double threat with her styling skills as well!). Third, we’ve also got some beautiful insight from Nina, the bride, about how wonderful a day after session can be. Let’s enjoy, shall we?

Advice from the Bride, Nina: Shooting the day after bridal shoot was simply amazing. On your wedding day your running around like a chicken with its head cut off trying to talk to family, all your guests, remembering to feed yourself and so on. Although we loved our wedding photos, being able to take time and be relaxed and really enjoy each other’s company during a shoot was truly amazing, and it also helped to have an amazing photographer like Danielle. The pictures that I received from Danielle I will cherish forever as if they were the photos from my actual wedding day. I would recommend to every couple to take the opportunity to do this kind of shoot.

California Vendors that made this shoot gorgeous:

May19 Thank You Notes and Ribbons 2011
Today, I’m really excited to share the work of a new member to our Grey Likes Photographers section, Sarah of Ampersand Photography. I love the simply styled elements, particularly the ribbon wands made from delicate lace and pastel ribbons. And what a cute touch to shoot the bride holding her thank you notes. Presh.
Mar21 Farewell to Winter 2011
Saturday was the last official day of winter. So I thought today, before we jump into spring, I’d do a sweet little farewell post to winter. This beautiful winter bridal shoot was shot on film by Heidi of White Loft Studios. Adieu to winter. Spring, here we come.

Mar10 Jane Austen Weds 2011
I know I’m not the only girl around who has read Pride and Prejudice one too many times. And I know, if you’re that kind of girl, that you loved the movie, what with all it’s sweeping gowns, wisps of curls, enchanting men and perfectly good endings. All I can think of when I envision Jane Austen is sweet, girly, romantic loveliness. So today, I bring you a modern little twist on Jane Austen. This Pride and Prejudice inspired photo shoot by Jennifer Hogan of Ever Whim Photographs is a perfect welcome to usher in spring (which officially arrives on March 20th).
I’ve suddenly got the urge to dig up Miss Austen’s musings.
*Be sure to check out all the peeps below who helped make this shoot so lovely!
