One of our Grey Collective members, Brea McDonald, recently sent over this urban loft shoot that was such a fresh take on wedding inspiration, that we felt compelled to let you in on the action! Apr30 Aphrodite & The Golden Apple 2012
Here is a sweet little Grecian inspired shoot that has me recalling a graduate course I once took in mythology. Here we see a few shots of “Aphrodite,” goddess of love. You can read more about the story this shoot is based on here, at photographer Caitlin Sheffer’s Blog. The nerd in me really loves a great tale from Greek Mythology. I think my fave part of this shoot is the gorgeous custom drawn invites from Ashly Hoth of Delivered by Hand.

We felt the need to start our week off with something calming and lovely. Looking at these images feels a bit like take a big sip of chamomile tea. Ahhhhhh.
