Feb20 East Coast Meets Wine Country 2012
Oh dear. One of our dear photog friends, Lori Paladino sent over a wedding that is going to stop you in your tracks! Whenever we meet a groom with a bold sense of style, it’s pretty irresistible…especially if he’s the kind of East Coast fella that knows how to rock the prep. Lauren and Ross’s wedding at Beaulieu Gardens is a total stunner…New England style meets wine country charm.

Jan12 Southern Brights 2012
This week, we are all about color! Today is no exception. Elise and Barry’s wedding took place at Three Fields Farm, where they celebrated in relaxed southern style–long farm tables dressed with bright wildflowers, bridesmaids in alternating hues of tangerine and sunshine, and sweet citrus coolers served with striped yellow straws. Photographer Melanie Mauer captured this bright Kentucky wedding so beautifully–so take notes our color loving darlings.

Jan09 Solvang Wedding by Kelly Oshiro 2012
If you haven’t already figured it out, Lady Grey loves color. Especially bright happy color, like the navy and tangerine hues from this Solvang wedding designed by one of our fave fave fave California wedding designers, Kelly Oshiro. One of my fave elements is her reinvention of the ceremony area, by designing a striped canopy. The effect is striking and whimsical. With images by Halberg Photographers (who are just as fab) you really can’t lose!

Kelly shares with us some insight into the design: Our theme was Spanish with a touch of vintage style. I created an arbor with blue and orange fabric for the ceremony, which really popped. For the reception, I painted cement containers two toned (navy and turquoise and red and orange) which carried out the theme. Flowers were dahlias, astibe, blue thistle, muscari, tulips, safflower, roses and geranium. I also painted plain white tiles half orange by taping it off into two triangle sections. These then went around the centerpieces on guest tables. Table numbers were Spanish tile house numbers. For lighting we stung old Edison bulbs at different heights for a touch of vintage.

That lovely stationery above was designed by Jennifer Ebert of Prim and Prixie.

Jan05 Meridian Vineyards Wedding by Cameron Ingalls 2012
We are major fans of vineyard weddings. What’s not to love about celebrating your wedding among the vines, in Dionysus fashion. All this warm dreamy light was captured by one of our fave photographers, Cameron Ingalls, who always shoots the loveliest weddings. We especially love the unexpected bridesmaid dresses, which add just the right touch of color.

From our lovely bride, Michelle: My mom & I have came up with most of the ideas for the wedding and made a lot the decor ourselves. Collecting pieces here & there and mixing them with home made items….it has really come along way and come together quite nice. We envision the wedding day as nice summer day, picnic-esque….relaxing for all our guests. All the tables are unique and different from one another, making it fun for everyone to see all the details that went into everything. We also envision a huge dance party, lots of laughs and good times.

Nov29 We Have Decided On Forever 2011
Just wait until you check out the images from Hanna and Corrie’s Stolkholm wedding. First off, have you ever seen a sweeter groom? I had to share with you his reaction as his bride walked down the aisle…and a snapshot from their speeches! Hanna and Corrie are both models, so their seaside affair, while simple and understated, includes some fabulous pops of color that are reminiscent of Sex in the City (ahem…did you see those bridesmaid dresses together?).
Very very very special thanks to Two Brides Photography for sharing such beautiful work with us!
