Grey Likes Weddings Rockin' a new rock?!

Every wedding has its own personality that is set in motion by the venue choices of the bride and groom. My fiancé and I knew we wanted to be near the ocean, but not in the sand, so we chose the Town Hall and Reception site adjacent to the beach. How to choose the venue that is best for you? Here are a few ceremony site options:

Church or Temple – If you are looking for a traditional and religious ceremony, a church or temple is the setting for you. PRO: Weather is not a factor CON: Limiting church rules and regulations

Oceanfront – A scenic sunset is a beautiful backdrop if you love ocean breezes and the sand on your feet. PRO: An open air setting and beautiful lighting options CON: Potential for wind-blown hair and potential difficulty hearing the ceremony

Rustic Outdoor – For the nature lover, an outdoor wedding is the perfect choice. PRO: Sets a romantic and earthy scene, while enjoying the natural elements of the outdoors CON: Damp environment or rain and unwelcome four-legged guests

Tent – A tented wedding allows you to create your own unique space with draping and lighting. PRO: Full creative control and no weather concerns CON: Can be pricey and sometimes warm if there is stagnant air or no A/C.
