Feb16 Airport Engagement 2011

If you’re marrying a marine pilot in the making, there’s got to be some sort of rule that requires you to do an engagement session at the airport. With an old propeller plane. (Obligatory). Jennifer and Tyler are so dang cute, I can’t even stand it! I especially love the little tid bit their photographer, Ashley Williams of A Picture Life shared with us below. This shoot was perfectly styled by Katie of Intertwined Events and I love how refreshing the concept is and the fact that it correlates so directly with Tyler and Jennifer!

Tyler, the soon to be groom, grew up admiring his father and all the stories he told of his time as a Marine. Tyler knew he would follow in his father’s foot steps on day. We wanted to pay tribute to Tyler’s goal of being a pilot in the Marines, while also giving Jennifer the classic photos she would treasure after Tyler is deployed.

Thanks so much for the feature – we absolutely loved styling this one!

  • So “Top Gun” or WWI! I know I’m probably confusing the section of the air force and even the time frame — but you know what I mean! Such fabulous styling!
